Chanel Resort 2012

Uncle Karl debuted Chanel's Resort 2012 Collection this week and in true Lagerfeld fashion picked the most expensive hotel in Antibes on the French Riviera to showcase the line.  The Collection lacked a cohesive direction however, I loved almost everything I saw.  The opening looks were classic Chanel, boucle suits that were pulled from a field of buttercups and lilacs in tailored silhouettes.  From the structure suits, we oddly enter a world of free flowing whimsical perfection.  Floral prints stole the show appearing on all types of gowns with intricate trim and sheer overlays.  All in all the Collection received gasps of air as each model floated down the runway, proving once again Karl can do no wrong.  Below are some of my favorite looks.
